Bernard is an approx 8 - 10 yr old owner surrender that was just pulled from a kill shelter. Bernard is 25 pounds, & heart worm negative. /p>

Bernard still has a lot of love to give, and did not deserve to be abandoned like this. He lived with adult men and women as well as 3 kids: 10, 12, 16 and a cat. He is reported to be very friendly, gentle, affectionate and smart. Now, he is scared and alone and doesn't understand why they left him at a scary place. Update: Bernard is the sweetest little guy! Boy does he like his dog beds! He loves everyone he meets, including other dogs. Bernard was seen by a vet for his limping, and was determined he has hurt his neck.
