Columbus Cocker Rescue is in need again to help 2 blind cockers get a chance to see again. Cranberry and Nola are going to be receiving cataract surgery to correct their blindness. Both girls are loving, never met an animal or person they didn't get along with, and are so deserving. They both came from horrendous conditions prior to rescue, but are still sweet & friendly dogs.
We need YOUR help in raising the $5000 (total) it will take to give both girls, their chance at a sight filled world again. Help us, help them have the chance to see again.
If you can help, even a little, please give your TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation via paypal, or send a check or money order to our

*When you send a donation, please let us know it is for the "2 girls cataract fund". *
- My Name's Bailey B
7 years old
Just the Facts
Hello potential new mommy or daddy! I am Bailey B and I am looking for a home of my very own. See that picture to the right over there; that is me sitting like a good boy for my “cookie”. My foster mom says I am too cute. I think she is right!
I was an “owner surrender” which means my previous humans turned me into the shelter. In my case, they told the people at the shelter that they were having another baby and I just didn’t fit in anymore. Not sure about that because if you ask me (and my foster mom), I am a very “go with the flow” type of guy and just want to be loved and get loved on.
I am housebroken and crate trained, but I know the house rules (no chewing, pottying or any destruction) and just want to curl up in my favorite spot and sleep the day away waiting for you to come home! I did hear my foster mommy say once that things need to be kept away from the edge of the counter because of me though. Sometimes my nose and tummy get the best of me and I may try and counter surf. I haven't taken a roast yet, but if it is at the edge, its fair game. I am super loyal and know commands too! Sit, stay, off/down, Go potty, Go to bed, Bailey B (that is you calling me by the way) and my personal favorite “Want to eat?” are just a few. My foster mom calls me a chow hound, I don’t know what that is, but I do love food. You can’t tell though because I do a great job of keeping my “boyish” figure. I also love belly rubs and if you are willing, I will gladly rollover and let you rub my belly. I get along great with other dogs too. I am holding my own with the kids at the adoption events but sometimes do like to jump.
I have been in my foster home for a few weeks now and while I love my foster family, I really want a family of my very own. Thanks for stopping by and remember - I absolutely love to be praised, hugged, and loved on. I am an attention hound and am willingly to roll over if I believe there is a chance for some extra special attention! I do try to do my best to please everyone in the family and if offered a cookie, I don’t snap. Oh yeah and I will love you forever and always if you give me a chance.
If you have any questions about me, please let Columbus Cocker Rescue know. Oh and I was told that my adoption fee is $200.
