Hello - My Name's Sweetie

Age: 9 yrs
Sex: Female
Size: 21-25 Pounds
Breed: Cocker Spaniel
CCRID#: 1923
Just the Facts
1/5/18 Sweetie's ears have reached a stand-still. With her temperament issues, ear ablation is not an option at this time. Her skin is looking great and she's doing well in her foster home where there is only one other dog who doesn't interact with her at all. Her foster mom and dad still need to be aware of movements and touching her as she will lash out!!!! She will receive palliaative care for now./barb 9/27/17 We are excited that Sweetie's ears are slowly improving. We can now see down the ear canals!!!! She is considered to have food allergies so she is now on special food and treats to improve her recovery time. Hopefully she will be well enough for us to consider a new adoptive home for her. A cocker savy home without children is required. Please call if you think she's s match for you!!!/barb 9/22/17 Sweetie moved to foster home with Connie and Rick. She had a rough start but has since settled in allowing them to care for her ears and eyes. Petting and affection are still limited but she's getting to trust Connie especially more and more !!! 9/9/17 Sweetie has been living in her owner's home alone for 2 years. Her owner moved and couldn't take her. Her status with other dogs and cats is unknown at this time. Hey ears are horrible and are being treated aggressively at this time. She doesn't do well with treatments but also doesn't want too much handling in general -- probably a bit unsocialized and fearful. We will continue to assess her and update this bio later. /Barb/9/19/17
