Just the Facts
3/15/19 HT w/Pattie Mettie. 1/31/19 Mas had his annual exam today and his mouth looks wonderful with no visible lesions. He is eating and drinking well and loves to take a walk with his foster mom. He still doesn't want any fur siblings so if you're a one-dog family and Max is for you, complete an online application./barb 6/15/18 Max continues to do fairly well with his foster mom although he seems to be more reactive when other dogs are within his eyesight. He might benefit from one-on-one training specifically for this issue with a trainer or someone who is experienced with this behavior. Otherwise, he seems to do well with adults./barb 1/9/18 Max came to rescue as an owner surrender due to the owner being evicted. He was known to be overdue on vaccines as well as having a huge oral/lip mass. While Max can be a little skittish with new people, he's more temperamental with new dogs who like to get in his face. His current foster is working to build his trust in other dogs with positive reinforcement. He would probably do better as an only dog or perhaps with an older, less active one. Max is short and low to the ground 10 year old who sports a very cute tail!!!!! His oral mass was removed and was diagnosed as an acanthomatous ameloblastoma which is only a local cancer with no metastasis to other body organs but could recur at the bone margins. If you think Max is for you, please complete an online application./barb
