Hello - My Name's Lucy OH

Age: 11 years old
Sex: Female
Size: 31-35 Pounds
Breed: Cocker spaniel
CCRID#: 1977
Just the Facts
10/12/18 home trial with Carmeans family. 7/28/18 Lucy arrived but seems to be very withdrawn and uninterested in much of anything. Multiple tests were performed with no real reason for her "very laid" back temperament. She went to a foster home with other dogs in August and while she did okay for a few weeks, it seems she doesn't want other dogs around. Since multiple incidents occurred, it was decided in September to put her on doggy prozac to correct the negative outbursts. However, the meds caused very unusual behavior in her - severe lethargy, not wanting attention from her foster moms, not wanting to move......meds were stopped to see if she would return to her previous nature. So far, not so good. We now feel she needs to be the only dog in a very understanding and patient family. If you think she would benefit from your family, please complete an online application./barb Lucy will be coming into rescue soon from the local shelter. More will be known when she’s seen by our vet and moves into a foster home.
