We are faced with a number of challenges in these times. In order to keep our volunteers safe and healthy and to comply with the Governor's executive orders and the recommendations of the CDC, we are implementing the following temporary procedures:

We are still accepting applications and doing the basic processing with the exception of physical home inspections. We will be asking for pictures, FaceTime or videos of homes. Most of our dogs cannot be spayed/neutered during this time. There will be no meet & greets until it is deemed safe and no dogs will be released for adoption at this time.

We cannot take in dogs during this time unless there is no other option available. We are aware of dogs in shelters but many shelters have closed their intake department with no way to pull a dog.

We appreciate your understanding as we travel through these difficult times.

Just the Facts
2/14/20 Rick & Connie adopting him!!! 12/4/19 Usually gets along with other dogs but we are thinking he should be an only dog as he had issues with the foster dogs after getting settled there. While in boarding he's had problems with male kennel staff - no real reason determined for acting out other than fear. He started screeching upon initial meeting or if something scares him. We've not been able to determine why he's started this behavior after being in rescue for so long. He is learning how to share toys and humans. We believe he was possessive over his home and human and when an intruder approached, he reacted! A fenced yard is required! If you fit these requirements, please submit an online application. /Barb 10/30/2019 - New to Rescue. Comes with "baggage" requiring only a cocker savvy owner. No exceptions. There is a bite history where skin wasn’t broken but there was fear that a neighbor might harm him. The owners were heartbroken to surrender him but it was best for him.
