Dogs in foster care are carefully evaluated by our dedicated volunteers. We ask many questions of prospective adopters to make just the right match.
Each adoption application is subject to acceptance based on a review process that requires collecting information from an application, a phone interview, a vet and/or personal reference check, and a home visit. This process is to be completed before you meet a rescue dog available for adoption.
Making decisions about dog placement in adoptive homes is an art, not a science, and there may be times when applications will be declined for various reasons. Approval of an applicant is left to the discretion of the CCR coordinator after he or she has reviewed all available information.
For any rescued dog in CCR's care, we reserve the right to make all decisions regarding final disposition or placement into a foster or adoptive home. There is absolutely no guarantee, made or implied, that any person or persons requesting to adopt a Cocker being fostered through CCR, or posted on CCR's website, will be granted an adoption.
