Louie was picked up as a stray and sent to a shelter. He is heartworm positive, has heart disease (enlarged heart + murmur), is blind and may have some earing impairment. He walks well on a leash. He had a few accidents in his foster home at first as he got settled in. But, he appears to be housetrained – needs to go out about every 3 hours while awake. He hasn’t had a lot of interaction with other dogs, but seems to get along with everyone he meets. We think a relatively quiet home would be best for him. We would love to find him a permanent foster to live out the rest of his days.
