Meet Edith!

11/12/2023 – UPDATE: In permanent foster care.

10/29/2023 – UPDATE – Edith is definitely a special case. She is social to  certain degree and requires a lot of patience. She does not like her routines upset. Any change, moved chair etc. freaks her out and takes her a while to get used to. This type of fragile nervous system and behavior often goes along with Visual and/or auditory impairments in dogs.

02/25/2023 – Edith needs another dog in the home. She needs someone with experience in having puppy mill pups.

01/26/2023 – UPDATE – Edith is doing wonderfully. Potty trained, loves people and only spooked sometimes now by new experiences. She clearned to go up and down stairs. Loves playing outside in snow and eating it. Plays with toys. While she might prefer another dog because she likes to play, she would do ok alone. She does well during our workday without causing problem for us. She is a good little girl. Someone will love her to pieces. 

12/06/2022 – Edith is one of 5 Amish breeder dogs that were turned over to rescue. Not much known about her yet, except she is small and unfortunately a black double merle and is blind. She needs a foster to teach her how to be a loved family member.
