1/8/2021 – After pre-cataract operation testing @ OSU, it was decided that Harper is not adoptable at this time due to multiple medical issues – moving to permanent foster while evaluating with an update possibly later.
12/23/20 Harper was evaluated at Ophtho OSU for her eyes. She currently is being treated for an eye infection so cataract surgery is on hold until this clears up. She does have some sight though. An adopter in the local area is required due to her frequent upcoming OSU visits. We are currently evaluating her skin which shows “bumps” which have been determined to be dried, flakey skin. Frequent medicated baths and combings seem to be working. Followup exam will be completed soon. Feel free to contact us for more details (particularly regarding the post surgical follow up required after cataract sx)./B
11/14/20 Arrived safely. Very nice girl but has severe skin issues as well as juvenile cataracts. She will be evaluated by OSU on
11/17/20. More information will be forthcoming.
11/11/2020 Harper is a 5 yo female with juvenile cataracts, coming soon from TN. We will need to get her into see ophthalmologist soon. She also reportedly has some spots of missing fur, so we will need to get that evaluated as well. Like both boys, she has a great disposition and is good with all.
