2/7/21 home trial with Davies family 1/29/2021 Wilma has asymptomatic heart murmur with sinus bradycardia (slow heart rate), diagnosed as AV block. The cardiologist has indicated that she doesn’t need medical treatment at this time. She hasn’t had any observed episodes since the initial one. Her adopter will need to provide a cardiac follow-up appointment in 4-6 months to ensure continued stability. Otherwise, she’s doing well with regards to exercise, eating, pooping and peeing.
11/7/2020 Wilma is doing great in her foster home. She is a somewhat independent girl, not your typical velcro cocker. But, she loves a good belly rub! She does well on walks. She occasionally has accidents in the house, she does best when kept on a schedule. She gets along well with her foster dog sister unless she runs right into her and then she can be reactive. She is very food motivated and will howl when she thinks it is time to eat :). Otherwise, she does sleep a lot.
9/24/2020 – Wilma will be coming from a neighboring county shelter where she was picked up as a stray. Her estimated age is 10 YO. The shelter says she has the normal “old girl” issues – we will know more once she gets into rescue.
