Sweet Alice just can’t catch a break. She saw an ophthalmologist at OSU yesterday who determined that at the tender age of 5 years old, she is completely blind. She has glaucoma and high pressures in her eyes. Within the next 3 months, Alice will be spayed, have a double enucleation (both eyes removed) and complete heartworm treatment. With all of this, her full tail never stops wagging. She navigates around her foster home very well and loves the other pups.
Whoever adopts her will be an incredibly lucky person as she is such a good girl.
Alice came from our rescue partner in Tennessee. She and Piper were found abandoned in a parking lot. She is being treated for heartworm currently. Her cataracts are advanced and cannot be removed.
