08-13-2023 – UPDATE fro Charly-Roo’s Foster: He is not good around children. Best in home with one or two people. If another dog is in the home, it should be an older, or not very active dog. Sue is fostering)
02/25/2023 – Charly-Roo is a loner but likes his person. he was moved to a quieter foster home. Walks well on leash.
12/04/2022 – Charly-Roo prefers the quiet life. Hanging with his person, going for a walk, taking naps. Because he doesn’t have teeth, his tongue hangs out sometimes. It makes him even more endearing. 🙂 He is not a fan of younger dogs that are energetic, play and make fast moves. This dislike may be based on the fact that Charly-Roo is vision impaired.
10/04/2022 Charly (also goes by Roo) is an 11 year old boy. He was an owner surrender to another rescue and then transferred to CCR. He just arrived, so more will be known once we get him settled into a foster home.
6/19 – CharlyRoo has settled into his foster home. He is on soft food. He lives with two other cocker boys, but he doesn’t show any interest in them. He really likes to be loved on (belly rubs) but spends the rest of his time sleeping off alone. He sometimes barks for no apparent reason (I’m sure he knows why, but is not telling us). He likes to go for short walks around the neighborhood – but again will bark at the unknown. No interest in toys, just love and food.
